I am a Fellow of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and a Member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists. I have been qualified for fourteen years and am based in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
My business is based on the belief that my clients' needs are of the utmost importance. I am committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of my business is from repeat clients and referrals. It may be of interest to lady readers of this site that my clientele is predominantly female. None of them has a problem in the fact that I am a male therapist. The majority of them are long-term clients which indicates that they have complete faith and trust in my work. This is the highest compliment they could possibly pay me. Six years ago a young lady who had never had massage before was referred to me by an existing client. She has become my most consistent client averaging almost nine visits a year over that period of time.
When you come for your first session I will take time putting you at your ease, explaining
what is expected of you and what you can expect from me. It will be necessary for me to complete a questionnaire regarding your health history. This is to ensure that there are no "contra indications". In other words, that you have no medical conditions that would make it unwise for you to have massage. This is for our mutual protection and is totally confidential.
I will tell you, that when we close the door of my treatment room, we shut out the world! This is your space, your time! The time to close your mind to everyday strains and stresses. To let go and totally relax.
I leave the room while you prepare and ask you to lay face down on the table with a towel accross your middle. Adequate means of covering is available throughout the session.
The massage is performed in total privacy with quiet relaxing music and subdued lighting. Time is not of the essence. I work slowly and do not need to watch the clock as I rarely have more than one client during the same part of the day.
